Distance Between Two Points

We love maps and we love finding all kinds of distances so we thought we would put a page together helping people find the distance between two points. The between distance is calculated using Google Maps and two interactive place markers you can move around to get the desired distance. Alternatively you can enter the two different addresses to find the distance you want.

Distance Between Two Points

The distance calculated is a straight line 'as the crow flies' distance and doesn't follow driving routes. Not only does this map allow you to find distances, but also other cool map features you can switch on an off as you like using the optional check boxes seen below.

You can view Google webcams, videos feeds from all over the map generated when you made your distance search. Panoramio photos, that people like you and me upload to internet, that have a geo location attached and also places to note that have a related Wiki page. There is a wealth of information along the way, but the best thing is you can do it all from your laptop, mobile or iPad!

If you are interested in finding directions for your next trip in the car you can look it up on the street map route planner as seen below.

Google Maps provides an API to find these distances, making distance calculations such as these a pretty straight forward process. We will be bringing out more new mapping features, helpful distance calculation tools and postcode related tools over the coming the months which we will keep you posted about on this blog.

Get in touch if there is any additional features you think should be available on Find Postcode.
